This course is designed for people planning to take the Small Water System Operator, Class I or Class II Treatment/Distribution Exams. The TCHs earned from taking this courses can be applied towards the 20 TCHs needed for SWS Operators lacking 6-months of operatinh experience. It is also approved for Conditional Operator License Renewal.
The course is based on the ACR Introduction to Small Water Systems manual and will help prepare you for the state exams including CT Small Water System/RI Very Small System through Treatment II and Distribution II. Topics covered in the class include: basic science concepts, water sources, treatment, distribution, pumping systems, safety, regulations and monitoring, and applied math.
